Our R&D department is continuously working to optimise products and other developments associated with silicate technology. Highly specialised development technologists carry out basic research in the many and varied issues facing silicate architectural protection systems. For as long as there have been silicate paints, all significant developments and innovations in this area have originated from KEIMFARBEN's development laboratory.

Close collaboration with virtually all well-known institutes and research laboratories working in the field of paint technology is a matter of course for KEIM's development technologists, as is ongoing participation in many domestic and foreign research projects. This is how we constantly maintain and extend our unique lead in know-how.

In addition to conventional product development, our R&D specialists carry out ongoing, systematic quality assurance of KEIM products, subjecting both the raw materials and the finished products to wide-ranging testing and inspection before the commercial product finally leaves from the production plant's loading bay.
